Graduating from Humber College in 2004 with a Law Clerk Diploma, Andrea began her career as a Court Reporter, working at both the Ontario Court and Superior Court levels in courthouses across the Greater Toronto Area.
In 2008, Andrea started working as a Family Law Clerk and Office Manager for a boutique family law firm in Mississauga, helping clients manage high-conflict divorces. In 2013, she joined another boutique law firm in Oakville, where she gained extensive experience handling high-net worth divorces involving complex financial issues. Andrea effectively managed the operations for each of these law firms, while also assisting clients going through the separation process in her capacity as a Law Clerk.
In 2020, Andrea was offered a teaching position with Humber College (Law Clerk Program). Andrea taught Family Law Procedures and Legal Document Applications to Law Clerk students.
Throughout her career, Andrea has developed a comprehensive understanding of divorce proceedings, earning her certifications as a Certified Divorce Specialist and Divorce Coach. She started up a divorce coaching practice in 2021 “The Wholehearted Divorce”, helping clients take a mindful and holistic approach to their divorce.
Beyond her professional achievements, Andrea’s personal journey has also shaped her perspective. Going through her own divorce in 2021, she understands first-hand the unique challenges and emotions that accompany the divorce process.
