On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Linda Cusano from The Riley Firm attended the 18th State of the Town Address by Mayor Rob Burton. On May 25th-26th, 2024, The Riley Firm hosted the Cynthia Moodie Bess Award Basketball Tournament in Kawartha Lakes. This event supported the Cynthia Moodie Bess Initiative, which provides scholarships for disadvantaged youth entering college or university. With everyone’s participation, sponsorship, and volunteer support, we were able to make a meaningful difference in the lives of deserving students.
On May 1st, 2024, we proudly sponsored the Toronto Divorce Professional Social, organized in partnership with the NADP and the Certified Divorce Specialist (CDS) Team. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for us to network and connect with other Certified Divorce Specialists (CDS) and local professionals in the city. On October 25th, 2023, The Riley Firm organized its inaugural Divorce Professional Social gathering at The Chartroom Bar & Lounge in Westin Harbour Castle. The event featured Liz Becker, Senior Trainer for the Certified Divorce Specialist Program and President and Founder of the National Association of Divorce Professionals. Attendees included CDS students, alumni, and various divorce professionals, all coming together to foster networking opportunities and provide support for clients navigating divorce. We are excited about expanding our CDS network in Canada and nationwide, enhancing the value and credibility of certified divorce professionals within the legal community.
