Dara is an associate lawyer at the Riley Divorce and Family Law Firm. Throughout his career as a lawyer, Dara has focused exclusively on Family law, specializing in property division, parenting-time and support issues. Whether it is in the boardroom or the courtroom, Dara is passionate about strongly advocating for his clients and their best interests.
He obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from York University – Osgoode Hall Law School. Through Osgoode, he also completed the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop and the Family Law Skills and Practice program. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Bond University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree from the University of Toronto.
Dara has worked for a few prominent Ontario law firms, practicing exclusively in family law before joining The Riley Firm. He is fluent in English and verbally fluent in Khmer. Dara actively contributes to the legal community as an appointed Member-at-Large for the Family Law Practice Group at the Advocates’ Society, a national organization dedicated aimed at helping lawyers become better advocates. Additionally, he serves on the Mentorship Committee for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL).
